In confirmation of a note we published last week, exclusively, Google and Samsung can actually bring the new Galaxy Nexus to Brazil, perhaps even faster than we had imagined.
Although none of the companies confirmed the information, a report obtained by Google Discovery showed that the Galaxy Nexus has been discussed internally at Samsung as a launch priority for the Brazilian market.
Today, however, new evidence may bring the launch of the Galaxy Nexus even closer to happening.
Google Brazil launched a hotsite in Portuguese for the new product on Thursday, which may indicate that something is really underway.
However, it is worth remembering that it is too early for a definition because the device is not yet for sale in the USA, but when we compare it with the Nexus S, which did not get a local translation, this change in Google’s strategy needs to be celebrated. 🙂
