Galaxy Nexus receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the USA

Google has just released, for American users, the update of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for Galaxy Nexus devices (HSPA +).

“Jelly Bean makes everything faster, more fluid and smoother. Notifications are expandable and actionable, widgets are magical and the keyboard is smarter and more accurate, ”said the searcher on his profile on Google+.

Jelly Bean also has a completely redesigned search experience and integration with Google Now, a new application that allows you to find information in real time.

“If you have a Galaxy Nexus HSPA +, you will receive a notice alerting you to the update over the next few days. Jelly Bean will still be made available to all Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, Motorola Xoom and, of course, Nexus 7, which will be released with Jelly Bean at the end of this month ”.

In Brazil, the Galaxy X has its update planned with the intervention of Samsung. In contact with Google Discovery, the manufacturer issued the following note (reproduced in full):

Samsung already has Android devices on its Roadmap with the new Operating System Jelly Bean, and we will have launches on this platform soon.Regarding the upgrades of devices already commercialized, our focus is currently bringing Ice Cream Sandwidch to every portfolio compatible with this version.

Samsung is the manufacturer that brings the most modern Android versions to its legacy devices faster and more widely. Its users are benefiting from upgrades to the Ice Cream Sandwich (Galaxy SII, the first to have an official upgrade in Brazil in April; Galaxy Note, whose update was announced this week; and the Galaxy Tab line, which are with their respective updates in the testing phase) in the same way as the previous generation of devices had already been offered with updates for GingerBread (Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Mini, etc.). Samsung is committed to maintaining this leadership and its users can rest assured that their products are constantly updated. Samsung users will be informed of new updates as soon as we have a set schedule, which includes upgrades to Jelly Bean.
