There is no doubt that Samsung is one of the companies that has successfully implemented the concept of infinite display on their smartphones. Xiaomi and LG have also developed good products in this regard, but the most famous are still Galaxy S8 and S8 +. It seems, however, that the South Korean brand may bring this feature to its future intermediate models of the Galaxy A line.

Galaxy A5 (2018): design, screen and finishing
The Galaxy A5 (2017) is already in manufacturing, and its serial code is the SM-A530F. According to the site HTML5 Test, next year's A5 will have the famous infinity display that came up with the Galaxy S8. The test shows Full HD + resolution running on the device (2220 x 1080 pixels) with AMOLED technology and 3D glass.
The design itself will not be the same as the S8, as Samsung will work in a different format for the series. The aspect ratio of the screen should even be the same as the S8, 18.5: 9.

The image above also indicates that Samsung may change the position of the fingerprint button, although the new place is not exactly the best choice. It is worth noting that the company may be betting on controversial positions for the biometric sensor to encourage the use of the iris reader, another feature of the S-series and Note 8 models. So the brand may be considering bringing this feature to this mysterious Galaxy THE.
Galaxy A5 (2018): Technical Specifications
The new model is expected to hit the market packaged by the Exynos 7885 processor, which should deliver above average performance in the mid-segment and also more energy efficient. RAM should be 3GB and internal space 32GB.
Remember that with the launch of the Q line, LG became the first manufacturer to explore the concept of infinite display in the middle segment. The next step, however, should be taken by Samsung with the Galaxy A line, although this series is not known for having exactly competitive prices in the segment. However, I believe it will be a great differentiator and also an alternative for those who are not interested in investing heavily in a Galaxy S8 just to have access to this unique design.
No information has been confirmed by Samsung so far, and the announcement of the new generation Galaxy A should be made during the first two months of 2018. By then, we will need to settle for leaks that are very promising. Do you agree?
