One of the most significant changes introduced in the LG G3 was the reform of the user interface Optimus UI, who abandoned his excess of skeumorfismo starting to adhere to flat geometric shapes, solid lines and colors in pastel colors. In an official statement, the LG said that the entry and intermediary models of its smartphones, as well as the tablets already launched in 2014, will join the new company interface later this year.

The interface is simple, with a modern proposal but without losing the configuration possibilities that are characteristic of the company’s design. The idea is not only to standardize the interface of the devices, but without offering in each model functions already present in the G3, such as the simplified camera with Touch & Shout, Gesture Shout or Smart Keyboatd. The changes start to be applied in the second half of 2014, however it was not specified from which version of Android the devices will receive the update.
