G-Technology announced yesterday (PDF) the availability of its new external G-RAID drives with Thunderbolt, which have up to 8TB of capacity.
The products combine high performance (up to 280MB / s) with high data storage capacity, working in RAID 0 with two HDDs at 7,200RPM. They have two Thunderbolt ports, allowing multiple devices to be chained together.
The family has suggested prices of US $ 700, US $ 850 and US $ 1,000, respectively for the 4TB, 6TB and 8TB models.
