Further confirmation appears that we will see a new Apple TV with 4K resolution support

Quite on the rise lately for being one of the people to delve into the firmware HomePod and get information about the new devices that will be launched by Apple, Steve Troughton-Smith today published yet another confirmation that we will soon see a Apple TV 4K arriving.

In a simulator running tvOS, Steve T-S discovered a resolution option of 38402160 pixels (also known as 4K), which is twice the resolution of Full HD (1920 × 1080), standard of fourth generation Apple TV.

The good news is that, like the aspect ratio of the screen (aspect ratio) will not change, apps will not need to have their layouts modified to run in 4K on the supposed new Apple TV. However, some images of the system, such as app icons, will need new gear.
