It may seem like a fortune, but the money is far from the largest amount spent on an Apple I computer unit that has been sold for the equivalent of $ 3.5 million a few years ago. Certainly a considerable jump from the sale price of the machine in 1976: $ 666.66 (~ $ 2,700).
