Fujitsu confirms entry into the low-cost notebook segment

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has confirmed that it will also be present in the new range of low-cost ultra-notebooks. The company is preparing to give details of the new equipment at the IFA in Berlin.

However, it is already known that the notebook will be another element of the Amilo family with Intel Atom processor and Microsoft software, more specifically Windows XP. It will be sold with covers of various colors, which the user can choose according to their preferences. The price advanced by the international press is around 380 euros.

The IFA is a fair aimed at the area of ​​consumer electronics that takes place at the end of this month in Germany, where the company promises to reveal more details.

It should be remembered that in addition to projects such as Intel’s OLPC or Classmate, specifically aimed at the education segment, several low-cost portable equipment has appeared on the market, aimed at the market in general. Of the several brands that are already present in the new segment, Asus and HP are already in Portugal.
