From digital to paper every month: new Google Photos subscription service being tested in the U.S.

Imagine receiving 10 printed photos selected automatically by Google Photos every month at your home. For now, Google is testing the subscription service "monthly photo prints" in the United States, with the goal of "delivering your best memories directly to your home every month".

According to the 9to5Google portal, the service, worth 7.99 dollars, allows users to receive 4×6 photographs printed on white cardboard. And, despite being an automatic process, subscribers will always be able to choose one of the three themes of the monthly impressions proposed on the site: people and animals, landscapes and a little bit of everything. Another useful feature allows you to edit photos before they are printed.

So far, and according to the news published on the portal, this subscription is a test program in the United States. Only a few users are being invited on the web version to subscribe to the service.

SAPO TEK tried to obtain more information to find out if this service would be available in Portugal, but, so far, no news has been released. For now, users have access to the Photo Book, starting at 12.99 euros.
