Oracle will extend the offer of free sales training to partners throughout the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). The initiative thus enters a second phase, after a pilot that involved more than 500 partners, from 15 different countries, during nine months.
The program was created to ensure that partners receive training, at the same time as Oracle’s own sales team, explains the company in a press release, consisting of the «Sales Opportunity & Management» module – a workshop dedicated to the best techniques and practices for the effective management of sales and pre-sale opportunities – and «Partner Induction Bootcamp» – which covers topics such as the complete product overview and training, business opportunity management, etc.
Later this year, Oracle plans to provide an additional training package for the sales area, which will include topics such as «Presentation & Negotiation Skills» and the «Partner Induction Bootcamp – level 2» course, focused on case studies and workshops.
Among the countries where Oracle’s free training activities first arrived were Belgium, Denmark, Dubai, France, Germany, Morocco, the Netherlands and Portugal. The response to the program has been, according to the manufacturer, «frankly positive».
