IOS users with a foot in the world of graphics and vectors will certainly know the Vectornator, free application for editing this type of content with several relatively powerful tools.
Because designers, illustrators and aspirants can already celebrate: the app has just won a version for macOS, called Vectornator Pro – which, best of all, is also free!
The application, like its mobile counterpart, offers several types of resources, tools and elements ready for you to work with logos, layouts, illustrations, interfaces, website designs and much more. Here we have all the traditional tools of the segment, such as brush, pencil, shape creator / editor and trajectory selector (paths).
In addition, you can use advanced shape editing tools and edit text as you see fit with the typography tool; a resource tracing automatic turns common images into vectors and you can also have access to more than 80 thousand free icons from Iconator’s library.
Finally, Vectornator integrates easily with other applications: you can save your creations in formats such as AI, PDF, SVG, PNG and JPG, as well as export layers individually. The application is built based on Apple’s Metal API, which ensures high performance in all situations – the developers, however, recommend that you have a dedicated GPU for maximum performance.
