Portuguese internet users can enjoy free shipping from the beginning of the month when they shop at the British Amazon store. The offer is valid for orders over 25 pounds (€ 28.67) and, in Europe, until now it has been exclusive to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Portugal is part of a group of European countries including Spain, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden, Holland and Finland, among other destinations.
According to Amazon, the only items that are not included in the Super Saver Delivery promotion are gift vouchers, items purchased from third parties and some electronic products.
Because it is paid in pounds, Amazon.uk’s free delivery service provides information about the exchange rate at the time of ordering, as stated by the international press, so that customers know exactly the amount to be paid, instead of obliging them to wait for the card statement.
It should be noted that shipping costs are only free if the purchase is made through the British Amazon store and not from another localized site, such as the American or French store.
