Foxconn's supposed “dummy” unit gives us a good idea of what the “iPhone 8” might look like

As we get closer to the launch of new iPhones, the leaks tend to become more significant (in the sense of seeing photos and sometimes even videos, instead of just text information) as they are already in the manufacturing and Apple testing stage. it loses much of its control. Still, not everything popcorn ends up being real.

Today, Benjamin Geskin (@ VenyaGeskin1) released on Twitter what would be pictures of a unit "Dummy" of "IPhone 8" obtained by some source at Foxconn. It is just a test model, with no real internal components installed or anything like that.

Although it seems a little strange at first, the model corresponds to several recent rumors: screen taking the entire front with edges of only 4mm, physical size similar to that of the iPhone 7, front and back with curved 2.5D glass, rear cameras positioned vertically and stainless steel frame.

According to Geskin, the final / official model will probably have a “space black ("Space black") non-stainless steel like the Apple Watch ie it will not be silver / shiny as we see in this model. The Lightning door remains at the bottom, as does the “lump” in the rear cameras, and the outside button looks more elongated.

You may have noticed, too, that there is no Touch ID on the back of this model (as we have seen here), that is, if it is hot, the sensor should really be hidden behind the screen, on the front.

Geskin even shared a preview of the technical “iPhone 8” scheme, according to these recent leaks:

Considering something along these lines, did you enjoy it?
