A company spokesman said the fire started on the roof of the electrical cables and that any damage would be covered by insurance.

This is not the first time that a Foxconn factory has faced such a problem. In May, an iPad factory located in Chengdu suffered an explosion resulting in 16 people injured and 2 killed.

Update

According to M.I.C Gadget, several people evacuated the building while firefighters arrived on the scene. According to the Chinese media report, the explosion / fire was caused by a malfunction of a machine that sprays paint. Well, as I said, the lesser of evils, since no one got hurt. See some videos, including one that accompanies the evacuation of the building:

The factory in question has 80,000 employees and would be responsible for the manufacture of PCs, Sony notebooks, computer components and printers as far as is known, no Apple products.
