Four stories involving smartphones you never thought possible

Saya keluar! Jangan memasang salah satu aplikasi ini di ponsel cerdas Anda

Our devices accompany us on all sides, whether for good or for bad. In some cases, the experiences are not, shall we say, normal. I have separated four bizarre cases involving smartphones, which will make you, at least, embarrassed!

An unforgettable game, a lost phone and a legendary selfie

Football lovers will remember the UEFA quarter-final match between Liverpool and Dortmund. At the end of the match, player Lovren scored a decisive goal spreading euphoria throughout the stadium (or at least half). After that, a fan of the team lost his smartphone due to the heat of the moment.

Now imagine how happy this fan was for, moments later, the players Mamadou Sakho and Divock Origi found the guy’s cell phone in the middle of the field, and still thrilled, decided to immortalize the moment with a selfie. Then the device was sent to the police and returned to its respective owner.

The owner of the device had his mouth open when he saw the players he liked most in his photo gallery. I wish all the stories ended like this, right?

A device designed for those who have a phobia of germs

Currently there are many water resistant devices, such as the Galaxy S7 and Xperia Z5, which have the certificate of protection against dirt and water. The fact that this is becoming a trend in the smartphone market is really excellent, but everything has its limit!

Japanese company KDDI created a water-resistant smartphone, but from a completely different perspective. The certificate in this case was not made to prevent accidents, but to fight an innumerable amount of bacteria that surround our devices.

That’s right, the device was designed to be able to be washed with soap and water as many times as necessary, freeing the device of all invisible microbes on its surface. A little paranoid? Hmm … maybe yes.

Apparently, during the tests, the phone was washed more than 700 times to prove its durability. And when I say washed, I mean with soap and water, as if it were a plate. The performance of the device is not much, but for people with terror of germs it is a full plate.

Android device administrator failed with this couple

The Android Device Manager has certain limits, but to what extent? Imagine that a couple in the United States began receiving unexpected visits from people who claimed that when tracking their devices, this couple’s home was where the devices were.

Now, several bizarre questions arise from this story. The first is: why did people choose to get to the place, instead of informing the authorities? The second, and more intriguing, is why did dozens of smartphones send signals from that particular house?

The answer was a failure in the antennas that were around the home. The problem persisted until the couple put a sign on the door explaining the situation. Still, certain people continued to knock on their door.

A manifesto against social networks, in the best Texas style

The loss of privacy is an evil of the new generation. A mother, very concerned about this issue, decided that she would take care of her children’s privacy. Like? Destroying your smartphones with a rifle and hammer. Well, a hammer is being nice, the tool she uses is more like an ax.

Watch the video and be amazed at the human capacity to resolve family issues in such a … so … like this:

“To all those present, I denounce the effects that social networks have on my children”. With this catchphrase, she picks up a rifle and starts a speech by talking about the effects of technology in our day-to-day lives. Worthy of an impeachment vote in the Chamber of Deputies!
