Forecast, a new social network derived from Foursquare, yesterday launched an application for Android that allows sharing places and places in order to group friends and make everyday life more social.
“Check where your friends plan to go or create your own Forecast so they can find you later. The application also offers check-in for when you arrive at the destination ”, explained the company.
Unlike Foursquare, where users say where they are, Forecast tries to position itself in the pre-event, by cataloging users’ wishes and offering an easier way for friends to really meet in real life.
