Ford announced, on Friday (23), the FordPass application to assist users with information about the vehicle and points of interest on the map, such as parking and gas stations. The program shows prices charged at these establishments to facilitate the driver’s decision.

Anyone who owns a branded vehicle will still be able to receive review alerts and access a 24-hour online service channel to answer questions and schedule services at dealerships across Brazil. The app is available for free download on Android and iPhone (iOS).

“Ford customers will have access to more specific information and queries about their car, such as maintenance data (for example, when to perform the vehicle overhaul), including the possibility of scheduling the service through the platform, in addition to extensive support of the distributor for any question or need ”- explained Ford’s marketing manager, Marcel Bueno, to dnetc.

According to Ford, those who download the app and do not have a branded vehicle will also have access to convenience services, such as location of gas stations, restaurant options, entertainment, parking, fuel prices, among others.

Remember that apps like Waze and Google Maps, also available for free on the Google Play and App Store, already offer similar features. Ford’s option, however, promises greater price detail.
