For developers: Colorau allows you to create color palettes and export them to code

When we talk about tools focused on colors (like this or these), usually those who work directly with it: designers.

However, Danilo Altheman director of our partner Quaddro Treinamentos identified a need for an app focused on developers and has just launched the tool Paprika on the Mac App Store.

Sorry, app not found.

With the software, developers can easily create color palettes and export them to either Swift (UIColor or NSColor) or CSS (RGBA or HEX) code. Then, it is very simple to use it by the Xcode Interface Builder even in projects programmed in Objective-C.

Colors can be selected by the palette or the dropper using anything on the screen as a reference. Colorau gives the developer four different schemes to follow: Anloga (Analagous), Monochrome (Monochromatic), Complementary (Complementary) or Tridica (Triad).

For those who want to know about Colorau, there is a video demonstrating it.
