Google's mobile app shows shortcuts to keep up with real-time football games. When searching for a team or league, for example, the user can choose to view the scoreboard on the device's home screen or set a reminder for a match. You can also follow a club to see rosters, tables, news and other information. Much of these additional sports-focused resources were developed by Google in Latin America, using its headquarters in Brazil, which is located in Belo Horizonte (MG). 1. Follow your heart team

On your mobile phone, when searching for any Serie A team in the Brazilian Championship, Google will display a special section with various information such as the latest leaderboards, club news and the national tournament standings. In the same place, there is a Follow button which, when selected, enables receiving information from the team in question on the "Discover" tab of the app.

During the 2019 Brazilian Championship and Women's World Cup matches, Google search results also display the real-time match scores, with up to three games on the screen at the same time. By touching one of them, it is possible to have minute by minute information of what is happening on the field.
3. Pin with reminder of a match

When a match is yet to happen, the app suggests to the user to make a Pin of the showdown. That way, he'll be reminded of the moment the ball rolls and have a shortcut to keep track of everything in real time, such as news involving the match, statistics and more.
4. Add shortcut on home screen

When the user searches the Google app on or Android phone, for a club or league, the system will suggest the user add the Sports shortcut on the main page of the phone. This gives you quicker access to all football news and results without having to search again.
5. Statistics and Scales in Search Result

When searching for any of the competitions, the user has quick access to a variety of relevant information, such as team schedules, photo timelines, and video throws.
