First Xiaomi Mi Watch Firmware Update Brings Support for iOS

O Xiaomi Mi Watch was released in the last month and receives, from today, its first firmware update with major improvements. Among them, the one that stands out the most introduction of iOS operating system support on the smartwatch.

Update arrives on December 3rd with iOS app

The OTA update number XM037 will be released between December 3 and 5. According to Xiaomi, it started being made available in China yesterday (December 3, Chinese time) and should optimize the pairing process Some users had been complaining that the clock froze in the first few minutes after setting it up for the first time. Other promises include correction of notification issues related to the Xiaomi Wear app and the automatic updating of location and weather information.

In parallel to this update, Xiaomi is also launching the Wear App app for iOS.

To upgrade your smartwatch, just go to Settings and select "System" and "About". After that click on "system update" and wait for the device to check if the update has already been sent unit. If so, the update will be downloaded automatically.

For a faster download, it is recommended to do so via Wi-Fi. The user should also turn off Bluetooth and place the watch in the charging cradle if the battery is low.
