Mozilla announces new version of its Facebook integration API browser
The Mozilla Foundation announced the new version of Firefox, version 17 can now be installed on both Linux and Windows and has the promised Facebook integration API.
Let's install on Ubuntu and derivatives, then we'll talk about the news:
How to install Mozilla Firefox 17
Open the terminal and paste the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: mozillateam / firefox-next
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install firefox
Once installed, go to this address from your browser and enable the Facebook API and click Turn on
Once you enable the feature and log in to your Facebook account the traditional notification buttons will appear in the upper right corner of the browser allowing you to chat with your contacts without having to open the social networking site.
Mozilla has only implemented the Faceboook API so far, but promises to embody more social networks like Twitter.
Now just wait and see.
