Clone family pet

If you've ever had a dog, you know he's part of the family. Therefore, whenever a dog dies, it is not as simple as going out and finding a new one. how to lose a loved one, for some a child (a).

It was that a couple from California who was devastated by the prospect of losing their beloved Labrador decided to clone the pet. Alicia and David Tschirhart, from Escondido, reportedly disbursed around $ 50,000 to clone their dog Marley, who they believe in saving their lives after he alerted them to a poisonous snake during a walk.

The couple decided to clone Marley after the dog was diagnosed with cancer. That was five years ago. When it was time for Alicia and David Tschirhart to say goodbye to their beloved pet Labrador, Marley, they failed.

So they decided to go on cloning animals, which resulted in a new dog that they called Ziggy. The couple says that Ziggy has the same personality as Marley, and Ziggy prefers the same toys as Marley and even plays the same way.

Animal cloning is not new. The first cloned animal was the sheep Dolly. It is also not the first time that a pet is cloned. In South Korea, a sniffer dog known for its "legendary" nose has been cloned to produce seven other identical sniffer dogs.

This couple cloned their dog by taking a tissue sample that was sent to ViaGen, a company that specializes in cloning, which then cultivated new living cells from the sample and subsequently took one of these samples and replaced the core of a bitch's egg. The resulting birth is a clone of the original animal.

Particularly, I still feel a little uncomfortable with the subject, or rather, scared. Technology brings us more and more ways to overcome barriers, but there are barriers that should not be overcome.

In the last 4 years I lost three dogs, even if I had the technology and the money at my disposal, I would not use it to create clones of my dogs, I would probably do what I did, I have other dogs, with totally different and unique personalities.
