Facebook launches posts with music and dubbing, in the style Musical.ly | Social networks

Facebook announced on Tuesday (5) two new ways to make posts with music in the feed. The first novelty is that, when posting videos on the network, the user will be able to select a personalized soundtrack to enrich the content. Lyp Sync Live is already a feature that allows dubbing famous songs for friends, along the lines of the Musical.ly and Dubsmash apps. The features are still being tested and have not been released to all users. See how the news should work.

Soundtracks for videos will be offered by Facebook in partnership with the music industry to allow reproduction of songs without infringing copyright. Currently, the video editor available on the platform only allows you to cut and add pictures to the content, with only one function to silence the original audio. Facebook has not yet revealed when it will be possible to add music to the edition, but guarantees that it is already testing the function in several markets.

The Lyp Sync Live function will allow you to dub music on live videos. The social network will offer a limited selection of songs to dub. The current list has famous hits like Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N Roses, Havana by Camila Cabello and Happier by Ed Sheeran. The company does not mention Brazilian artists.

The dubbing of songs should arrive soon. According to the social network, it will be possible to try the novelty by selecting the option Lyp Sync Live in the Live menu, before starting the transmission.
