Facebook launches Portal do Cidado in Brazil to monitor politicians | Social networks

It is possible to use the Portal to communicate with both authorities and government agencies and local service entities, such as the Civil Police. The novelty is being released gradually to all Facebook users in Brazil.

According to Facebook, the tool offers a quick way to follow the official profiles of municipal, state and federal authorities, including those that were elected last Sunday (7). It is then possible to obtain a feed that shows only what politicians publish on the social network, in addition to having access to a direct channel with them via message.

The Portal do Cidado can be accessed in the Facebook application menu and clicking on "Portal do Cidado", or by doing a manual search in the search bar. Brazil is the second country to rely on the tool since launching to users in the United States in 2016.
