Facebook has flaw that prevents it from posting on pages | Social networks

Facebook page administrators face a bug that makes it impossible to make new publications. According to reports, since this Wednesday (26th) the social network has had an error when trying to make a post, disappearing with the content (either image or video) and preventing the upload of files. The problem does not affect all commercial pages of the platform, but affects administrators of different nationalities. The DownDetector website, responsible for registering complaints about failures in online services, indicates that the problem occurs in several countries besides Brazil, such as the United States, United Kingdom and much of Europe. Sought by dnetc, Facebook acknowledged the flaw.

When asked by a user who was unable to schedule posts on their official Twitter account, Facebook instructed them to report the problem to the Advertiser Help Center. The social network also warns that it does not necessarily respond to complaints, but that they help the investigation to resolve the case. To dnetc, Facebook said it was committed to solving the bug: "Today (26) some people may have had difficulty posting on their business pages. We are aware of the situation and are actively working to resolve it quickly".

While the official solution does not arrive, users exchange suggestions to return to post on business pages. However, it is worth mentioning that, according to user reports, none of them has been effective for all people affected by the problem.

Some claim to have managed to get around the bug by accessing the social network through the Android or iPhone mobile application or directly through the mobile browser, however, in this case it is not possible to schedule posts, but to publish them on the spot. Closing Chrome and logging into Facebook via alternative browsers, such as Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, also helped some administrators.

Using different applications is also an outlet. Hootsuite and other schedulers, such as the Page Manager and the Creation Stadium (both from Facebook itself), allow you to circumvent the bug. Other users have already managed to post on the business page by linking the fanpage to an Instagram account. Thus, any publication made by the social network of photos automatically shared on Facebook.
