Google today announced the inclusion of some of the most famous mountains in the world, including Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro.
Now users enjoy a very complete and 360 degree view of majestic landscapes through the computer or smartphone.
“With Google Maps you can instantly transport yourself to the top of these mountains and enjoy the views without facing avalanches, landslides, cracks and the dangers of altitude and time,” published Dan Fredinburg, Google adventurer, the official blog.
The images, according to Google, were collected with a tripod and a digital camera with a fisheye lens. You can view some behind the scenes photos in the gallery below:
