Exify is an application for those who take photos on the iPhone seriously

The last Iconfactory application we talked about was the unusual BitCam, which allows you to take pictures with the graphics of the first Macintosh. This time, the group launched a more “serious” photo app, aimed at photographers or photo enthusiasts: the Exify.

Exify - Tools for Photos app icon

With Exify, you can access the photo's metadata, format, size, screen ratio and color mode. Some information about the lens and the focus of the image is also presented.

To dust "Magnifier" allows you to zoom in on the photo so you can see pixel details, like a magnifying glass. You can examine the photo with 1x, 2x and 4x zoom.

When you touch the eye that appears on the right side of the top of the screen, some more information about colors and proportions appears for you. There are two color options: one in RGB and the other in gray scale pointing anywhere in the photo, the exact color is shown. The histogram facilitates the visualization of RGB color schemes and lightness in grayscales, divided into shadows, density and highlight.

Already the option "Location" allows you to see a map showing where the photo was taken if it has GPS enabled on it and also the date, time and location coordinates. Selecting “Copy to clipboard”, you copy this information so you can paste it in other photos.

Each photo has a lot of metadata and all are available to be consulted and copied to the application download area. For example, you can find out which model of iPhone the photo was taken on or check if there is any type of copyright in the photo. To view some more detailed options, just click on the eye icon ("inspector").

Exify extensions found in other apps like Photos, Safari and Messages allow you to view information about images (“Show image information”), see the pixels in detail ("Magnify Image") or duplicate an image (“Duplicate image”). To do this, just tap the “share” icon in other apps and the options will appear for you. Finally, another extension appears on the photo editing screen; selecting the three dots, you can choose the option "Exify" and add metadata as well as a watermark to the photo.

You can buy Exify for $ 2 on the App Store.
