Exclusive apps for tvOS can now be purchased / downloaded by iGadgets, Macs and PCs

Apple announced that it is now possible to access exclusive apps from Apple TV from direct links. Previously, to find and install an exclusive app for tvOS, you had to go to the App Store on Apple TV, search and download from there – it was definitely not a very practical option. Now, developers (and sites like MacMagazine) will be able to access Link Maker (filtering by tvOS) and have access to the direct link of the app, sending everything already chewed to its users. ?

The best of all in this novelty is that the direct links to the applications can be accessed from any iDevice, Mac, or PC. Through it, we can view all the information of the app and buy / download it by the device itself. Then, if automatic transfer is active on your Apple TV, the app is downloaded to it. One example is the Relaxing Fireplace FREE app, which is exclusive to Apple TV; when clicking / touching the link, you are redirected to the app’s information page, which previously was not possible to access by another device if not on the TV itself. As for universal apps, the link will be the same, but now you can also see images referring to the app on Apple TV.

This improvement is very welcome both for developers, who will be able to distribute their apps more easily, and for users, who will not necessarily need to be in front of their Apple TV to buy (or get free) an exclusive tvOS app.

In fact, this is an improvement that would be wonderful if implemented for Mac App Store applications, right? Being able to buy / get macOS apps directly from iDevices it would also be a hand on the wheel… ?
