And, it seems, comes to a new manufacturer of Mac clones, this time Italian: this is the Engineering Project, which has already put up a temporary page about EVO Personal, your PC compatible with Mac OS X.
Information is still very scarce and the machines are not currently sold. According to the company, its online store is being prepared and will go live soon. Although it is still unclear whether their computers will already be sold with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard installed, what the site already brings are basic configurations and prices for some models.
The "EVO DUO" comes with a 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 processor, 2GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, an "Evodrive" (I imagine it is equivalent to a SuperDrive) dual-layer 8x, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Intel GMA X4500 graphics card. This leave for 480 euros. In comparison, the cheapest Mac mini in Italy today costs 550 euros and comes with a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo chip, only 160GB HDD and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics chipset.

Apple's battle with Psystar continues in justice, of course, but we still don't know how it decides to treat other companies that propose similar activities in other countries, like this one. In recent times, we have also seen one appear in Russia, another in Germany and even a third in Argentina.
