iPhone SE, 2016, should soon win a new version

An new version of iPhone SE, known as the 'low-cost iPhone', seems to be on the way. The website 9to5Mac revealed Thursday, 2, possible details of the new device, including available colors, processor and internal storage.

iPhone SE version 2020

According to the 9to5Mac, The official name of the new device should only be iPhone SE, and make it clear that this is the 2020 version of the hardware – that is, be the iPhone SE 2020. The name is a clear reference to the iPhone SE launched in 2016 for the last time, which had a four inches, used the iPhone 5 case and had iPhone 6 cameras and processor. The first incarnation of the iPhone SE was the one that related the idea name to a low-cost Apple phone.

More powerful processor than iPhone 8

The new iPhone SE will probably use the processor A13, used on the newest iPhones: 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. The chip two generations above the iPhone 8 and should attract iPhone 6 users, who will lose support for software updates in the near future and no longer has some news already available for other models.

Storage up to 256GB

According to the website, three versions of the device with different internal storage are confirmed: one 64GB, one 128GB and, finally, the last 256GB. They are the same options as the iPhone 11. As in other versions of the iPhone, there is no space for expandable memory – of course!

Larger screen

There would also be an update on the screen, which should be slightly larger than the 2016 model: 4.7 inches, like the iPhone 8, and a resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels. In 2016, the iPhone SE had a 4-inch screen and a resolution of 1,136 x 640 pixels.

Three colors

The device will be available in three different colors: White, black and red (Product RED line). However, the model will also have at least five covers available, in black silicone, white silicone, red leather, black leather and dark blue leather.

Price

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone SE 2020 must have been sold from US $ 400, approximately R $ 2,114 in direct conversion at the current price. Kuo's forecast was made in the second half of 2019, so it is still possible for changes to be made. The iPhone 11 has an entry price of $ 700.
