Even without sponsoring the Olympics, Apple managed to not be totally left out

A few weeks ago, we announced that Apple would start selling from this month special bracelets Apple Watch for Olympic Games. They can only be found at the Apple Store, VillageMall (in Rio de Janeiro).

The news raised some concerns about a possible violation by Apple, which is not the official sponsor of the Olympics. But the company does not give a point: although it is quite obvious, it did not make any direct association between the bracelets and the Games and, obviously, it does not use the official Rio 2016 logo or the colored bows. They are just bracelets with the colors of the flags of several of the participating countries.

And she went, according to the German website (Google Translate) iphone-ticker.de: any trainer / athlete who is participating in the Olympics (and proves that, obviously) can go to the store and take two of these free bracelets. THE confirmed the initiative with its own sources.

Considering that each one is seen for R $ 296.10, a “toast” and a lot! 🇧🇷
