EU workers are increasingly using the company's mobile equipment. Portugal not so much

The European Commission has released some curious data on the use of smartphones and mobile equipment outside the company, demonstrating the readiness of European Union employees to respond to the company, customers and suppliers. Statistics refer to equipment provided by companies for work, with an internet connection, in order to maintain access to emails, documents or to use company applications outside the office and workplace.

According to the study, in 2019 28% of employees of companies spread across the EU received laptops or smartphones with internet connection for work purposes. It was an increase of 2% over the previous year, which registered 26%.
