It is called Common Criteria based European (EUCC) and the objective of ENISA is to replace the measures currently in force for the certification of products and services, in the area of cybersecurity.
Before being instituted, there is a proposal for review, prepared with the involvement of a working group and several stakeholders, which adds new elements to the measures adopted in the meantime, while extending the scope of the system to all Member States .
The intention is that the new certification framework will further improve the conditions of the domestic market for technological products and that this will positively influence the services and processes that depend on these products.
The consultation launched by ENISA runs until the end of July and allows all interested parties to contribute with their feedback. The results will then be shared publicly. Before responding, ENISA advises you to consult the draft proposal for the EUCC system.
