Apple TV +: English adaptation of the series “False Flag” and teaser for “The Morning Show”

We are a few weeks away from the official launch of Apple TV +, the new streaming of Apple videos, and some more news is starting to pop up here and there.

Let’s get to the news!

«False Flag»

The company is developing an English adaptation of the TV series «False Flag» for the Apple TV + catalog, as reported by deadline.

False Flag

The drama’s first season, which aired in 2015, shared the story of five people who were involved in a kidnapping crime after Iran’s Defense Minister disappeared. The second season, launched earlier this year, told how three people also came under the spotlight after an explosion during an opening ceremony for a pipeline that connects Israel to Turkey.

The series aired in the United States by Hulu and FOX, but the Apple adaptation will be an unprecedented project. According to the publication, Apple is working with the American division of Keshet Studios; there is still no information about the cast of the adaptation.

«The Morning Show»

Apple today shared an approximately one minute teaser of its next drama, «The Morning Show», which stars the Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon, and Emmy winners Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell.

The production is expected to be one of the first to be released on Apple TV + later this year:

The news is only half the story.

THE teaser showcases conversations from the main cast as you roam the TV broadcast studio rooms. As we reported, the series «will explore the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the challenges faced by the men and women who perform this daily television ritual».

In addition to the video, Apple is showing that it is willing to publicize its productions, since it created official accounts on Twitter and Instagram dedicated to its original drama. Last month, the company released the teaser from the series «For All Mankind», which will also be launched in the service.
