When Ma launched Apple Music, she said she would keep the old one Beats Music functioning for a certain period while users migrate from one service to another. His app was even updated in late June, making it easier to transfer subscriptions and playlists.
From yesterday to today, Apple announced that Beats Music will be permanently closed on 30th of November. From that day, the subscriptions of all those who have not migrated to Apple Music will be canceled.
The announcement arrives days after the launch of Apple Music on Android. Even though it is still in beta, apparently Apple already thinks it's time to focus entirely on the new service.
Beats Music itself never grew much, not least because it was restricted to the United States mainly due to the lack of strength of a giant like Apple.
