Elo Flag is now supported by Apple Pay! [atualizado 2x: vídeos]

After a long wait (the original forecast was for October last year), from today the Brazilian flag Link is also being supported by Apple pay in our country.

The news was spotted by some readers of the at the changelog from version 1.4.9 of the Ourocard app, released at dawn, but has already been made official by Apple also on the service page on its website.

The first image of the Apple Pay website even now features a Banco do Brasil Ourocard card with the Elo banner.

The Elo banner support on Apple Pay is being released today simultaneously by BB and at Bradesco, what excellent.

We have already received some positive reports from people who have successfully added their Elo cards (both credit and debit) to Apple Pay successfully, without a hitch this time around. Comment below your experiences! 😉

Elo has already posted a page about Apple Pay on its website and shared some video usage patterns:

In a statement sent to the MMElo has confirmed that by making purchases through Apple Pay, their customers will have access to all the rewards and benefits offered by the branded cards.

For those unable to add their Elo cards to Apple Pay, the reader Diego Araujo learned from BB that for now this is only available for cards started by digit 6 (the international ones).

Soon all Ourocard Elo cards will be supported.
