In July, actress Marina Ruy Barbosa was a victim of criminals who gained access to her Instagram profile and, posing as her, announced that they were donating iPhones to followers. It didn't take long for fans to alert the actress about what had happened. In a short time, she managed to activate the social network and regain access to the account. Three months later, in October, the situation was repeated with actress Cleo and singer Ludmilla.

Used by celebrities and anonymous, filters are only great resources to make the photo more beautiful and harmonious in relation to the color palette of other publications on Instagram. But this is not always the result obtained. In September, influencer Gabi Brandt gained prominence on social media after answering a follower's doubts about how she edited her photos. A lot of people decided to put instagrammer's tips into practice and got somewhat unusual results. After the polemics, Gabi explained that she only gave a quick edit and showed the step by step to arrive at the correct result.

3. Kim Kardashian using Photoshop to include children in photos

Not always when children are willing to pose for pictures, and that would not be an exception in the case of little Chicago, daughter of American socialite Kim Kardashian. In October, the influencer drew attention when posting a photo in which the girl was digitally inserted alongside the other children. Kim joked with the subject and admitted the issue, since the image was only manipulated because Chicago was afraid to pose next to the giant dinosaur. Still, the poorly done cut in Photoshop jumped in the eyes of users and became a joke on the Internet.

The case was repeated on the family's Christmas card. This time, Kim's eldest daughter, North West, did not want to participate in the photo shoot and was included later in the image editing.

4. Lisa Kudrow revealing her own password in an Instagram post

Imagine unintentionally revealing your password to more than 4.6 million people. Actress Lisa Kudrow, Phoebe of the Friends series, knows how to get through this. In May, she posted a selfie on Instagram with her computer in the background to promote an article dealing with her next role. It turns out that the photo also contained a post-it with the actress's password written in pen. After the fans pointed out the error, Kudrow removed the publication. Good-natured, she made fun of the slip and later posted another selfie showing her "new password".

5. Brooklyn Beckham forgets to delete instructions from publipost

The Consumer Protection Code states that all advertising must be identified clearly and objectively. On Instagram, however, it is very common to see celebrities and influencers who advertise veiled products and services. In June, the Brooklyn Beckham model received numerous reviews after forgetting to edit a caption in a sponsored post by the car giant BMW. "The caption: 'On the way to recording the next BMW concept car @BMW #NEXTGen'. Location tag: Munich, Germany," Beckham said in the publication. The influencer, who had no intention of signaling the publipost, quickly edited the caption, but the error print had already gone viral.

6. Khlo Kardashian misses in Photoshop and ends up with 14 fingers

The search for perfection often leads celebrities to exaggerate in the manipulation of images, which generates artificial results, in the best cases, and bizarre, in the worst. That's exactly what happened to socialite Khlo Kardashian, who appeared with 14 fingers in a photo posted on her Instagram in March. The influencer's intention was to display the dress she wore on the birthday of singer Diana Ross, but it was not the outfit that caught the attention of her followers. Instead of praise, she received criticism for over manipulating the photo.

Anyone who thinks that sharing chains on WhatsApp and other social networks is something of older relatives and inconvenient co-workers is wrong. In August, international celebrities endorsed a viral about an alleged new Instagram privacy policy and asked followers to share the message to avoid the change. Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore and Usher are just some of the names that were in the chain. Instagram confirmed that the rumors were false.

8. Publish old photo of burning in the Amazon

#Rule #RG @rainforestalliance: The lungs of the Earth are in flames. The Brazilian Amazonhome to 1 million Indigenous people and 3 million specieshas been burning for more than two weeks straight. There have been 74,000 fires in the Brazilian Amazon since the beginning of this yeara staggering 84% increase over the same period last year (National Institute for Space Research, Brazil). Scientists and conservationists attribute the accelerating deforestation to President Jair Bolsonaro, who issued an open invitation to loggers and farmers to clear the land after taking office in January. The largest rainforest in the world is a critical piece of the global climate solution. Without the Amazon, we cannot keep the Earths warming in check. The Amazon needs more than our prayers. So what can YOU do? As an emergency response, donate to frontline Amazon groups working to defend the forest. Consider becoming a regular supporter of the Rainforest Alliances community forestry initiatives across the worlds most vulnerable tropical forests, including the Amazon; this approach is by far the most effective defense against deforestation and natural forest fires, but it requires deep, long-term collaboration between the communities and the public and private sectors. Stay on top of this story and keep sharing posts, tagging news agencies and influencers. Be a conscious consumer, taking care to support companies committed to responsible supply chains. Eliminate or reduce consumption of beef; cattle ranching is one of the primary drivers of Amazon deforestation. When election time comes, VOTE for leaders who understand the urgency of our climate crisis and are willing to take bold actionincluding strong governance and forward-thinking policy. #RainforestAlliance #SaveTheAmazon #PrayForAmazonia #AmazonRainforest #ActOnClimate #ForestsResist #ClimateCrisis: @mohsinkazmitakespictures / Windy

The fires in the Brazilian Amazon worried government authorities, environmental protection NGOs, activists and also celebrities. It turns out that, with the aim of alerting about the situation of the forest, many famous people ended up sharing old images and from distant regions of the Amazon. The model Gisele Bndchen, the player Cristiano Ronaldo, the singer Ricky Martin, the actor Leonardo DiCaprio and the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, are among the many names who did not check the facts and spread misinformation on social networks.
