Eight innovative Amazon services that few know about | Productivity

Amazon, a global e-commerce giant, invests in innovative projects in various areas of the market, including outside the virtual environment. The company's last bet, for example, was Amazon Go, a supermarket in which there are no attendants, lines or cashiers. At the store, recently opened in New York, customers identify themselves at the entrance using a cell phone and then they can pick up their products on the shelf and walk freely throughout the establishment. Payment is made through the visitor's online account on the Amazon App, with a credit card.

The bet on differentiated ventures may have helped the company reach the mark of $ 1 trillion in market value, becoming the second company in the United States to reach the figure, behind only Apple. Check out the following list of eight curious services created by Amazon.

Indirectly, the customer opens the door lock to allow the employee to enter and can watch the entire movement live through the camera. At the end of the visit, access is locked again and the user receives a video of the delivery. The service is only available to Prime customers in the United States.

A variation of the service gives the option to deliver orders to customers' cars. Amazon Key-in-car works in a similar way to the residential version, but instead of delivering the package to the homes, the deliverers leave the products inside the trunk of the vehicles, which must be parked in public places. Unlocking the car also takes place remotely, through an application that only connects to vehicles of the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac and Volvo brands.
