Eddy Cue participates in new charity auction entitled to lunch at Apple Park

Auctions involving lunches with Apple executives within the company's headquarters appear to be the new format for raising funds for groups and organizations that partner with Ma (or the executives themselves). In this year alone, we have followed two carried Charitybuzz: one in which Tim Cook (CEO of the company) raised US $ 689 thousand for the organization Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights and another in which Eddy Cue (senior vice president of software and internet services) raised US $ 255 thousand for National Association of Basketball Coaches Foundation.

Now, Cue is participating in a second auction offering the same reward (a lunch of about an hour on Apple’s new campus, Apple Park), this time on behalf of the organization Autism Movement Therapy.

Autism Movement TherapyAutism Movement Therapy

It is a non-profit organization, focused on serving the autism and special needs community, through the provision of a structured movement and music program, in addition to providing advocacy and community outreach to create understanding and dignity for the community in Worldwide.

If you are thinking of participating, please know that you must be 18 or over and lunch can be scheduled (in agreement with Cue, of course) for any date between August 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. The cost of the meal is included, but the possible cost of travel and accommodation (if you are not from Cupertino), no. In addition, lunch cannot be resold, re-auctioned or rescheduled.

And if you think this is an opportunity to get to know Apple Park up close, with a great company executive as a guide, you can get your horse out of the rain because the idea really has a chat with the biggest supporter of the Golden State Warriors and not spying on the “spaceship” that landed in Cupertino. 😜

Bidding starts at $ 50,000 and runs until 3:00 pm (Brasilia time) on July 25.
