A few days after we announced that the Personal Sharing for music was disabled in iOS 8.4, Eddy Cue Senior vice president of software and internet services at Apple confirmed today via Twitter that it will work again on iOS 9.
@inklake We are working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9.

The move evidently caught several users off guard and angered a lot of people, not least because no one was forced to use / subscribe to Apple Music.
A new iOS 9 beta is expected tomorrow. We'll see if the feature already paints it.
