Drop test shows the Galaxy S9 + is as tough as the iPhone X

In general, drop tests (drop tests) are somewhat questionable because, however much one tries to be fair in the way he drops the device on the floor, there will always be small variations between one and the other.

For this reason, nowadays there are machines / robots created specifically for this. And in the video above, the channel PhoneBuff used one of these to compare the durability of the newly launched Galaxy S9 + front of iPhone X.

Not wanting to give spoilers it is obvious and obvious that glass breaks. But it is amazing to note how much these smartphone makers have really progressed in this direction in recent years.

Both Samsung and Apple smartphones ended up with a pretty bad video and inoperative functions, but they did very well overall. The test indicates that, in everyday use, users can be quiet in this regard but a case always recommended, of course, even more considering how much these toys cost.

If the thing continues to progress at the rate it is at, I wouldn't be surprised if, say, in about 3 years we see an “indestructible” glass smartphone in normal use.
