Dreams (PS4) players create Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong

Last weekend, the game Dreams, developed by Media Molecule, was launched for the Playstation 4 platform. Quickly, players used the tools provided by the game to create two classic Nintendo titles, responsible for marking the childhood of Many. These are Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64, released for the Nintendo 64 platform, as the name says.

It is impressive to see that, in a few days, the creation of the games in Dreams was very well done, although unfinished. In the video below you can see that it was possible not only to reproduce the scenarios of the games, but also the movements of the characters, giving us a hint of nostalgia when we return to see the landscapes with Mario and Donkey moving.

How does the game Dreams work?

Developed by Media Molecule, Dreams provides players with an incredible variety of simplified tools that allow them to easily create anything imaginable. The game had its beta version released in April of last year, and in this opportunity, several interactive arts, comforting landscapes, remakes of old games and even private games were created.

The title of Media Molecule allows players to create whatever they want, even copies of copyrighted works. These created games are not openly shared with all Dreams users, however, however, there is no way the creator of the project can make money from the recreations of games like Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong. There is a possibility that Nintendo will contact the stadium so that sharing of these remakes is limited, but apart from that, nothing more can be done to prevent creations like these.

Who knows, in the future, we may not have the creation of more remakes of classic games like the acclaimed Banjo-Kazooie, released many years ago for Nintendo 64. Only time will tell what comes from this creation tool, because the imagination has no limits.
