Download two new Material Design wallpapers from Android 6.0 Marshmallow!

Since the official announcement of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, 9 system wallpapers have appeared on web. Yesterday, two new ones were released, and we also learned about the amazing story of their making. Check it out, download it and put it on your smartphone.

On Google's design site, the interesting story of the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow wallpapers was revealed. Those who aren't landscapes, that is, geometric shapes inspired by Google's Material Design visual line, are the work of artist Carl Kleiner, but whoever thinks they were made on the computer is mistaken. The new wallpapers are actually photos of collages with different types of layered paper. Thus, we have concrete materials mimicking a digital composition. Along with the revelation, two new wallpapers, one blue and one red, have been published. To download them, click here (blue) and here (red).

The nine wallpapers are divided into two categories: landscapes and colorful geometric shapes inspired by Material Design. A pyramid, a river in the middle of a canyon, and area views of bodies of water make up the first category; the shapes come in shades of yellow and blue, yellow and gray and green and gray.
