Yesterday, Google introduced Android 4.4 KitKat and in the coming weeks we will also have the OS update for Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. However, smartphones from other manufacturers will still depend on the release of the update by them and this may take some time . So if you don’t want to wait until the official update for your mobile device, download the new Google apps like the Google Experience search engine and launcher from Android 4.4 right now.
Google has already released the factorys images Android 4.4 KitKat, with factory settings for Nexus 5, on its servers for developers. To our grace and joy, the staff of XDA-Developers immediately plunged deep into the APKs built from each part of the KitKat.
At first, everything should work on Android Jelly Bean, but I cannot guarantee 100% satisfaction. However, I had no problems installing Nexus 5 wallpapaers.
So, to have the launcher Google Experience (Google Home) you need three different apps: Google Play Services 4.0, Google Search and the Google Home APK. Pay attention to one detail: Google Search has been presenting a problem, as the application closes unexpectedly. To work around this, you must change the default system language settings (and the Google Voice Typing configuration language) and perform a Google search. Then, you can reset the previous language, but this solution will only work until the next device reboot.

The link below will take you to the Droid-Life, there you can find Nexus 5 wallpapers, as well as a list of applications and services that can be downloaded as APKs:
