The design of smartphones follows the same pattern: body made of plastic, has sides with rounded corners and the rear has an elegant design that simulates a brushed steel texture. Also at the rear the lens set is attached and aligned on the left side of the device.
The biometric sensor is located in the upper center of the structure, within the symbol of the Motorola, which works with extreme speed and brings models a very elegant look. The sensor has gestures that can be configured to show notifications from the smartphone.

The smartphone screen has a resolution of 720 Ă— 1560 with 269 ppi, being possible to adapt the colors of the screen according to the user's choice, being able to choose between natural, highlighted or saturated colors (native to the system).
The verse G8 Power has the same screen in terms of size, but with a higher quality being the screen Max Vision Full HD 6.4 inches, 1080 Ă— 2300 resolution with 499 ppi. There is also the possibility to change the colors of the screen to the model Moto G8.
Hardware and Software
Family smartphones Moto G8 equipped with the same set of hardware, being 4GB of memory RAM, an octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 and a GPU Adreno 610. The set brings intermediate performance when running games that require greater graphics performance, such as Call of Duty. Despite this, a slowness of the front camera was presented when using filters from the Instagram and the system was restarted abruptly during our tests. This fact happened only once, and the smartphone was not being used in any function that requires a lot of hardware, such as games.
Both smartphones have 64 GB internal storage with the possibility of expanding up to 512 GB via microSD card.
In terms of software, the Moto G8 and G8 Power have Android 10 native installed, which brings better fluidity when using it on a daily basis. The new functions inserted in the Android 10 are easily perceived such as: Smart Reply (intelligent answer, in portuguese), a feature that suggests actions automatically to users, such as, for example, suggesting which is the best app to open a certain video or web address.
THE Motorola managed to successfully integrate gesture navigation into the models Moto G8 and G8 Power inserted also in Android 10, for example, when you slide your finger down on the biometric sensor, the notification center will be displayed. In addition, there are also several gestures that can be activated in the configuration, such as: navigation with three buttons (present in other versions of Android), screenshot with three fingers, swipe to reduce the screen size, etc.
Cameras
THE Moto G8 comes equipped with three lenses, the main one being 16MP, a ultra-wide 8MP and a 2MP macro, and also has an automatic laser focus sensor. The 8MP selfie camera is in the left corner of the screen, being of the type hole-punch (inside the display).
As explained by Motorola, the lens ultra-wide allows 4x more framing in panoramic images, and gets 5x closer to the object when using the macro lens. Brightness and sharpness are possible thanks to the 16 megapixel sensor, which has an aperture of f / 1.7, together with the laser focus.
J a Artificial Intelligence acts to optimize the photo, selecting the correct mode according to the landscape or object to be registered. Among the shooting modes, the Moto G8 features Portrait, Smart Composition, Automatic Smile Capture, Interactive Filter, Cinemagraph, Portrait Mode (rear camera), Highlight Color, Panorama and Crop.

The smartphone also comes equipped with the same features as Artificial Intelligence and the same shooting modes as in the Moto G8, with Portrait mode also present on the front camera.
A highlight is the mode Portrait, although it has only on the rear camera of the Moto G8, which produces pictures with a lot of quality and sharpness when focusing on the object, it is possible to adjust the amount of blur you want to use on the object, but in some levels the blurred edges end up giving an aspect of blur (blur, in free translation) on the focused object.
We miss a night mode present in other models launched by Motorola of the line One, none of the lenses capable of producing good quality night photos.
Batteries
THE Moto G8 comes equipped with a 4000 mAh long-life battery, which has a long life even when used for various functions.
The great highlight in this aspect to be evaluated goes to the Moto G8 Power. As the name suggests, great for the powerful battery of 5,000 mAh which guarantees an autonomy of up to two days on a single charge. We tested the power of the battery and it is really something incredible: the smartphone was used in social networks, playing music, games with high graphics, playing videos, an average brightness of 80% and its battery lasted smoothly.
