In its announcement of the 3.5mm connector, DJI emphasized the recommendation to use it in conjunction with well-known microphones. The company indicated the following models: audio-technica atr-6550, Rode VideoMic Pro, Rode VideoMicro, Azden sgm-990, Sennheiser MKE400, Sony ecm-ds70p and DJI fm-15 FlexiMic.

Still according to DJI, the new adapter can only be used with the Osmo Pocket gimbal, so it's no use buying it thinking that it will be possible to use the product with a smartphone, for example.

Another reason for not doing so is the prohibitive price that the Chinese manufacturer is charging at $ 39 (R $ 148 in direct conversion) in international markets. A similar smartphone adapter costs on average $ 10. There is no forecast for launch in Brazil.
