There is no doubt: the iPhone SE it’s a hell of a device from a technical / specification point of view. After all, Apple practically took an iPhone 6s (mixed with some iPhone 6 components) and placed it inside an iPhone 5s body. But it is exactly that (a 5s body) that has bothered some people. Many, like me, expected and hoped that Apple would miniaturize the iPhone 6s (including the design). That’s not what happened.
As much as we are talking about a beautiful, well-finished and quality housing, it is a 2013 design. Let’s agree that three years in the technology market is practically a lifetime! ?
The staff of COMPUTER BILD it is within this group that did not agree with the choice of Apple design for the new device and decided to put their hands on the dough in order to change that. What they did? They acquired a (fake) Chinese carcass of a 4-inch iPhone 6 and did a complete transplant of component organs, turning the device into a “IPhone 6 SE”
The result, you can see in the video above and in the images that illustrate this article.
Needless to say, this is highly difficult and complex. It is definitely not anyone who has the ability to completely dismantle such a device and put all the parts back in another housing – even more different from the original. The likelihood of you screwing up is just huge!
But if you are brave or have an iPhone out of warranty (obviously it will not be an iPhone SE, unless you are reading this post in the future) and with the carcass destroyed, the idea no longer sounds so absurd …
