It is worth mentioning that, currently, the electronic vehicle document is in force in: Distrito Federal, Cear, Rondnia, Gois, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso do Sul, Sergipe, Maranho, Amap, Amazonas, Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro, Alagoas, Paran, Mato Grosso, Acre, Esprito Santo, Roraima, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Bahia and So Paulo. 1. Export digital CRLV to PDF
The vehicle document can be exported in PDF format to be sent by email or to WhatsApp contacts, for example. With a few touches, the recipient will receive a complete copy of the document, in front and back, accompanied by a signature and digital certificate that allows validating the authenticity of the certificate. The PDF is valid as a certified copy of the original document.

To export the document, simply open the vehicle's CRLV in the application, touch the three little dots of options and choose the export icon, identified by a sheet of paper. you need to enter the application password to perform the operation.
2. Share documents with other drivers on the same vehicle

The CDT application also allows you to share the document with other drivers who use the same car. Unlike the PDF version, this option automatically adds the document to the other driver's CDT application. This means that he will now have the certificate on his own cell phone to use during traffic inspections. This feature is useful for those who rent the vehicle or for those who share the use of the car with relatives.
The sharing can be carried out for up to five people at the same time and can only be done by the owner of the vehicle, who must request the sending by his cell phone, typing the CPF of the other driver. The third party must have the CDT previously installed on his smartphone. Upon receipt, the external driver will be able to view the record, but will not be able to export the document in PDF.

When registering a CRLV in the application, an encrypted QR Code automatically generated and attached to this vehicle's page in the app. This security layer is unique to the digital version, since paper documents do not have the code. If the user needs to validate this document, just access the VIO app, also developed by Serpro, to validate the QR Code and confirm that the vehicle is legal and there are no falsifications.
In addition to the CRLV, the CDT application also stores the user's CNH Digital. In this way, the driver is able to access the two mandatory documents in transit in a single digital environment, accessing the two records in an easy, organized and official manner. It is worth explaining that it is not necessary to have a CNH to register a CRLV in the application, as its registrations are independent.

5. Use password to protect documents

The CDT protects access to documents by requesting a four-digit password, which must be created by the user when creating the register. Whenever you need to access a document or perform an operation, the code requested in the application. The driver can also use his biometrics options, such as fingerprints, already registered on the cell phone to unlock the services.
6. Notice of recall of the vehicle and expiry of CNH
The CDT also sends alerts to the driver when a vehicle registered on the platform needs to go through a recall. The alerts inform the detected defect and the risks of not making the repair, as well as providing service channels for the responsible company. Drivers are also advised when their National Driver's License is about to expire, 30 days in advance, so that they can schedule and do not travel using an expired document.
