When you type something on the virtual keyboard of iOS (which is the operating system that runs on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch), you can hear a characteristic sound with each keystroke. It has already become traditional and almost all users are not bothered by it, quite the contrary.
However, there are situations where the noise gets in the way, such as when you’re typing in bed at night, while your better half is trying to sleep; or even when trying to send an SMS during a movie session (in which your iPhone should be turned off, by the way). To solve the problem, the most obvious solution is to put the device in silent mode; but if you want to permanently turn off the keyboard sound, there is an easy way to do this.
This is one of the menu options Sounds in the Device Settings. Disable the “Keyboard Clicks” option, and it will no longer make noise when you type something. When you need to call again, just do the same procedure.
