Blog do iPhone

If you constantly use the Whatsapp on the iPhone, know that there is an easy way to access the latest conversations, be it in groups or individual messages. You can put a shortcut at Notification Center, which can be used even when you have another application open.

In this article, we’ll show you how to do this.

Widgets

IOS has so-called widgets, which are shortcuts placed on the Notification Center and that can be accessed even on the device’s locked screen. But although they are quite practical, not all users use them, often due to lack of knowledge. A user initiative is required to add new widgets, something that not everyone does, which results in using only those pre-installed in the system.

Installing or uninstalling a widget is easy. We will teach below, showing how to install WhatsApp.

Step 1: Open the Notification Center (which is that little curtain that appears when you drag your finger from top to bottom at the top of the screen). If you are seeing notifications, then drag your finger across the screen from left to right to access Widgets.

You can also access widgets on the iPhone home screen by dragging it to the right.

Step 2: Swipe to the bottom of the widgets screen and you’ll see a button To edit. Touch it.

Step 3: You will see a list of widgets, according to the applications you have installed on the device. The ones with a red ball are the ones that are installed. The green balls are the ones you can install. Look for the WhatsApp icon, with the words “Recent Conversations“. Touch the green ball to add it. Don’t touch the button yet OK.

Step 4: Go up the screen and find the widget you just added along with the others installed. Touch the three-line symbol and drag to the top of the list. This will make the widget even easier to access. After that, tap the button OK.

There, from there you can easily access your latest conversations through the Notification Center, without having to look for the application icon, thus saving several taps on the screen. Four shortcuts are available, but you can tap “Show more”To show eight in total.

It will always show the latest active conversations and unfortunately you cannot set favorite conversations. Even so, it helps a lot.

Tell us if you managed to do it on yours and if you had any difficulties. It is by sharing knowledge that we help everyone to make the best use of our dear iPhones. ?
